We need YOU!!

The cornerstone of our community theatre mission is supporting performing artists of all ages. This means everyone from seasoned actors and actresses to those on stage for the first time. If you have never auditioned before, feel free to contact us with questions. We periodically host audition workshops, and our directors and production crew are happy to provide guidance before your audition.

 

Auditions for our musicals typically require that you come prepared with sheet music and your best 16 bars (no a'capella or recorded music).  An accompanist is provided. You will be asked to complete an audition form that includes your theatre experience and any schedule conflicts. Callbacks are usually the next day or two and include script reading. They may also include a dance audition.

Auditions for CSTOCK’s Fall 2024 production “Charley’s Aunt” will be held on July 6th and 7th from Noon to 2 PM at the ARC of Kitsap County Dance Hall, 3243 Perry Avenue in Bremerton.  The show is directed by Jeffrey Bassett, and produced in special partnership with Peninsula Alliance.

The script calls for the following characters:

• Jack Chesney:  22yo college grad

• Charley Wykeham: 20yo college grad

• Lord Fancourt Babberly (“Babbs”): 20s to 30s

• Brassett: older college manservant, maybe 40s-50s (small role)

• Stephen  Spettigue: 50s and up solicitor, ward to Kitty, uncle to Amy

• Col. Sir Francis Chesney:  Jack’s father just returned from India

• Donna Lucia D’Alvadorez: the real aunt, who shows late to the luncheon. Rich English widow who has returned from a life in Brazil

• Kitty Verdun:  Spettigue’s ward.  Young 18-20

• Amy Spettigue: Spettigue’s niece, Young 18-20.

• Ela Delahay: 17-20, companion to Donna Lucia.

 

Actors/auditioners should read the play before auditioning and it would be appreciated if they could have either a printed or electronic version of it for auditions.  The play can be found at:
